Common Management Admission Test (CMAT)
is a national level entrance examination for entry into management programmes. Till 2018, it was conducted by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) every year as per the directions of Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), Government of India. The Test will now be conducted by the NTA. The CMAT is a three hour computer based online test which is conducted in a single session to evaluate the candidate”s ability across various segments like Quantitative Technique, Logical Reasoning, Language Comprehension and General Awareness.
This test facilitates Institutions to select suitable graduate candidates for admission in all Management programs.
The CMAT score is accepted by all AICTE-Approved Institutions/University Departments/Constituent Colleges/Affiliated Colleges.
Which MBA Colleges Under IP University Delhi accepting CMAT for Admission in 2026 Batch?
GGSIPU MBA Colleges by CMAT for granting MBA Admission in 2026 batch.
Any recognized 3 years or more Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate. OR
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Technology or any other subject with minimum of 50% marks in aggregate or any qualification recognized as equivalent thereto with minimum of 50% marks in aggregate. OR
Passed the Final Examination of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India or England, the Institute of Cost and Works Accountants of India or England or the Institute of Company Secretaries of India. In addition to above, for MBA(Financial Analysis) the candidate must have passed in Mathematics at the 10+2 level.
Admissions Criteria:
All admissions shall be made on the basis of the merit of Common Admission Test (CMAT) 2018 that was conducted by Indian Institute of Management‟s on a rotational basis. The University shall not conduct its own CET for admissions, but shall be utilizing the merit of prepared on the basis of normalized CMAT score for its admissions.
Admission shall be on the basis of the merit of the written test CET, CAT or CMAT.

Students who could score well in CAT 2023 and could not take admission in their dream colleges in India have a better options of taking admission in Top MBA colleges in Abroad.
